Spring Workshop #3 – Macarons and Chocolate Shoe – Wednesday May 4th
Wednesday May 4th, 2022 7-9 pm - $85 plus tax
To begin, we will talk about chocolate: where its from, what it is (single origin, bean to bar etc.) and what we do with it while sampling chocolate during this segment. Then, into our commercial kitchen, you will learn how to make macaron shells and ganache centres with up-close instruction and applied hands-on piping experience. We will make 3 flavours: raspberry, cookies and cream and caramel and we will decorate shells (we will have enough for samples during class as well some for you to take home). We will also learn the basics of molding chocolate with a little chocolate shoe to decorate. Fun!
Please Note: No jewelry, bring indoor shoes, wear your hair tied back (we will provide hair nets and aprons) and please wear a mask. Please come at least 15 minutes before workshop starts and front door will be open for 6:45 only. Parking is free and available at front, side and back of building.
